Introduction from Thomas Ossa, Web Strategist
Since I am not a fan of About Us pages that are written in the third person, I'd like to speak directly to you in order to explain what we do, as well as some ways that we can help your business or important cause to grow.
Rockland Web Design is geographically based in Stony Point, NY. However since 80 to 90% of our work is done within an online or virtual environment, we can work from anywhere - a cafe, a conference room, a home office, a mobile phone or a living room. Our team of graphic designers, programmers and content management specialists work together on individual projects without the need to travel to one central location. In addition to in-person meetings, we collaborate via phone/online conference, upload and transfer documents to each other, and report the results of that which we have undertaken, in as openly and efficiently a manner as possible.
Our projects vary in scope. We have worked on very humble 1-page sites and blogs; we have also created full-fledged content management systems with e-commerce ability, performed search engine optimization services, and conducted multimedia-rich marketing campaigns complete with Flash, audio and video elements. A substantial background in education & training services allows us to educate our clients through seminars, webinars and one-on-one sessions.
No two web projects are alike. While we can offer our clients a wide array of elaborate technical features, we are perfectly happy setting up a start-up small business with a standard website, e-mail and hosting package. As your business grows over the months and years to follow, we work to educate our clients on the benefits of using technology to their benefit. Only when clients require more more powerful web-based systems, do we propose the necessary upgrades.
A core philosophy we adhere to is this: we let your web business grow at your pace, not ours. So whether you need a blog, a catchy web graphic for a banner ad, a simple contact form, a secure file archival system, a virtual desktop application or an e-commerce system, we'll work hard to be there when you need us.
