Rockland Web Design will perform SEM services for the client’s website. Our primary goal will be to increase lead generation for the client in a reasonable, measurable and valuable manner over a period of three months, or one fiscal quarter. Below is a detailed overview of our SEO process:

Month I:

  1. Discovery: Gather FTP access codes, interview to learn client’s business model and desired market, begin gathering possible keywords and phrases for later usage
  2. Analytical research: Use Google Analytics (must be installed) to conduct 2 week analysis of client’s current web visit trends to determine baseline. Perform Google / Yahoo listing services
  3. Obtain additional domains that are relevant to the client’s industry and business location (See below)
  4. If feasible based upon client’s current host, generate xml site map and load onto site
  5. Client Briefing I: Report findings, set reasonable objectives for new visitors over 1 1/2 month period, collaborate on schedule for newsletter content

Month II:

  1. Set, maintain schedule for keyword research, industry links, newsletters & reporting
  2. Optimization: Gather relevant keywords / keyphrases, investigate competitors
    • Study the sites of highly ranked competitors in the region to determine their keyword content, retool any relevant material in a new, original form for site
    • Research keyphrase content popularity such as “Chiropractor in New City” or “New City Chiropractic”, add or modify existing materials, tags and keyphrases
    • Research & link to numerous reputable websites in the client’s industry
    • Briefing II: Report on month I results. Consultation to adjust site text, keywords & keyphrases. Client acknowledges completed work, requests Month II work initiation

Month III:

  1. Add or adjust keyphrases, tags and materials of existing content on the site
  2. Client begins adding newsletter content on a recommended schedule of once a week
  3. Check newsletter content and makes necessary adjustments
  4. Keyword / keyphrase analysis:
    • Determine productive keywords, keyphrases and optimize for quality, density
    • Track click-through rates and numbers using Google Analytics
    • Observe bounce rate, exit pages and other elements relevant to site
    • Briefing III: Generate and submit report based on results of 2-month campaign. Consultation to determine subsequent strategies for campaign beyond month II

Final Week:

Track results using Google Analytics. Create exit report and submit results to client.
